Booking Class Instructions

We understand the transition to online classes is not easy for everyone. We’re here to help! Follow the steps below to book your class. Even if you've already been taking classes, please see the note at the bottom regarding our cancellation policy.

  1. Download  Zoom on your computer or mobile device, this is where your class will be hosted.
  2. If you already have an account with us, sign in, and proceed to step 3 If you DO NOT ALREADY have an account, create one with us on our website by clicking  here. When creating your account, it is especially important to leave ALL boxes for digital communications CHECKED.

PLEASE NOTE: If you uncheck these boxes and opt-out of communications and notifications, the system will not send your necessary class info. We also recommend at this time that you opt in to our newsletter which provides updated studio and policy information as well as a glimpse into our beloved YTB community..

  1. Review our virtual class package options and decide which one is right for you. Add that to your cart and purchase.
  2. Book the classes you wish to attend. Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom link for your class. This link will also be emailed to you 30 minutes before the start of class. If you have checked all emails, including your spam, and you have not received the link a half hour before class, please email us immediately at info@yogatribebrooklyn.com
  3. To take a class: click the link to enter. Greet your teacher, chat with your yoga friends, roll out your mat, and enjoy!



We offer a wide variety of class types from the classic Bikram series to Yin Yoga. In addition we provide wellness services from community acupuncture to biodynamic craniosacral. Our classes and services are taught/performed by certified, experienced instructors and practitioners. We hope to encourage you to maintain a regular practice. Original hot yoga sequence designed for beginners, perfect for veterans, and valuable for all. Even if you’ve never practiced yoga before. Our original hot yoga series offers 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a heated room. Build your strength, flexibility, focus and discipline. And get your sweat on! (Heated)


A fusion of Bikram classic, with upper body strengtheners, and ab toners. We flow it all a little to give you a full body workout in 60 minutes. This class is friendly but challenging. (Moderate heat)


You will laugh and work hard. Learn the progressions of the poses you have been practicing in the beginner's classes. Want to explore and advance your practice, you will find something amazing in yourself every time. (Moderate heat)


Less holding and more flow, our vinyasa classes tap into grace and strength as your body enjoys a full range of motion. (Unheated)


This series of postures based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga primary and intermediate series. A perfect marriage of tempo and sequence, these advanced routines are appropriate for all levels levels of students. With plenty of ways to modify the classical poses, the benefits of the poses are transmitted equally to renew vitality and energy. (Moderate heat)


Imagine a hatha practice blended with spiritual theory, sacred geometries, meditation and pranayama. Katonah is a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well being. It’s organized around three principles of esoteric dialogue: all polarities are mediated by trinity; the universe has pattern, pattern implies intelligence; by virtue of repetition there is potential for insight. This practice uses props to support the physical body in position of ease. You learn how to facilitate positive relaxation responses for energetic, emotional and mental balance. In hectic world, now you can give your mind and body time and space to truly rest, recharge and rejuvenate. If you’re not in the mood to push your body beyond its natural range of movement, this class is for you. And if you fall asleep, we won’t wake you. Unless you start snoring. (Unheated)


Can’t sit still for very long? This slow paced, meditative practice stretches the connective tissue around your joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). The asanas are held from 45 seconds to two minutes, helping you access the deeper (Unheated)

Tao Yoga

Part of Qigong, An ancient holistic chinese system that interates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. It is a system practiced for health maintenance, healing, and increasing vitality. (Unheated)



Lefferts Community Acupuncture

BOTH YTB AND MINKA ( Located upstairs ) offer their spaces to host Lefferts Community Acupuncture LLC. They are a collective of acupuncturists providing accessible, affordable community acupuncture treatments. Mondays through to Saturdays. An ancient healing art that should be experienced by all looking for better health and wellbeing.
